the Women’s Law and Human Rights Institute of The Ark Foundation,
Ghana are offering a comprehensive three–module leadership
training and development opportunity for Women Leaders in Civil
Society Organizations in Ghana.
About
the Leadership Development Programme
The Leadership Development Programme (LDP) for women leaders was
conceived of as a strategy for supporting the efforts of women’s
rights organizations in Ghana and for achieving synergy in the various
programmes they carry out. The programme will bring together 24
NGO women leaders into a forum for joint learning, strategizing
and action planning. The programme is tailored to the context and
uniqueness of leadership as experienced by women. The distinctive
quality of this programme is its focus on developing the potential
of young women to contribute to and influence policy.
