The Ark Foundation runs two broad Program
areas:
- which
engages in capacity building through Training, Advocacy and Public
Education on the themes of Women’s Human Rights, Women’s
Leadership Development and Child Rights and Law. Targeting women,
children, policy makers and civil society organizations, The Ark’s
activities under this program are carefully crafted with the aim of
drawing attention to the human rights and human development issues
of women and children in Ghana to engender the necessary policy, legislative
or societal action for change.
-
which operates through the Crisis Response
Centre Project and begun running in August 1999 has three different
components:
- Crisis Centre
- Shelter for abused women and children,
- Active collaboration with other service
